Our Thanksgiving Days

As a tenth generation granddaughter of Governor William Bradford, Arlene’s friend and former assistant, Deanne Nerguizian, has produced an outstanding interactive coffee table book for the Thanksgiving Season. In the FIRST SECTION families will find daily devotionals, one for each day of the month preceding Thanksgiving week. The devotionals include the story of the Pilgrims experiences in the New World and the first Thanksgiving. Each devotional is rich with Scriptures and include a time for personal reflection. Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget His deeds but would keep His commands.” Families will have the opportunity to fill in the “20 Year Memory Album” with their many blessings from the previous years. Thus they will be creating a personal heritage of God’s faithful provision. Each year a page is provided for recording traditions and where and with whom they celebrate Thanksgiving, along with a space for photos.

The THIRD SECTION highlights the wonderful story of the Pilgrims and God’s mighty provision as they stepped out in faith and came to the New World. The story includes the miracle of finding the land already prepared for them and Squanto’s intervention on their behalf.
